RAV line and the changing landscape

each time i drive to the airport i am shocked at the speed of which the rav line is happening....modern miracle or visual blight?
i know that it is must as the city grows and the infrastructure becomes gridlocked with too many cars...but given the price of gas perhaps the cars will lessen?

as the labour crisis looms i guess driverless trains and cars are the way to go.

'modern miracle' - not
'visual blight' - all in our perspective.
in the world of technology - where speed exists for communications - why is it we can't reduce or better yet eliminate, our reliance on the individual transportation of a car? are we so 'me' that 'we' is so foreign? are we so 'me' that it takes the 'hit to the pocketbook' to see beyond our own reach?

then again - do you want to go where I go?
