today the rain came back. i swear it was gone for such a long time. or perhaps i am more aware because it is attached to the first week in September. the beginning of fall is upon us. change is good and i know i should embrace it but so much of me has changed these last few months. i feel melancholy today and am picturing a soft sofa, a good book and a cup of tea.
